Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

StudyAU (the “Site”, domain studyau.my) respects every visitor’s privacy. This page explains in plain English what data we collect, what we don’t, and what your rights are.

One-line summary

StudyAU is a purely static information website. We do not require you to register an account, and we do not collect your name, phone number, address or any other personally identifiable information.

1. What we do not do

2. What may be collected

2.1 Server logs

StudyAU is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare automatically records the following anonymous technical information for security and performance reasons:

This data is held by Cloudflare, not StudyAU. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

2.2 Anonymous analytics (if enabled in future)

If we ever enable Cloudflare Web Analytics, it is a cookie-free, non-identifying tool that aggregates pageviews and referrers. It does not track individuals across sites.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or any other tracker that sets a third-party cookie.

3. Cookies

StudyAU sets no tracking cookies. Your theme preference (light/dark) and reading progress are stored in your browser’s own localStorage and never transmitted.

Articles link to university pages, the Department of Home Affairs (Australia), UKVI, UCAS, IELTS, PTE and other third-party sites. Once you click, you leave StudyAU and are subject to the destination site’s own privacy policy. We are not responsible for their practices.

The floating School Assessment button links to an external form operated by UNILINK (unilinkau.mikecrm.com). When you submit that form you share data directly with UNILINK under UNILINK’s privacy terms — not with StudyAU.

5. Children

Our readership includes SPM / STPM / UEC students who may be under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are under 18, please browse under the guidance of a parent or guardian.

6. Your rights

Because we do not collect your personal data, there is no account to access, update or delete. If you believe any content on StudyAU refers to you personally (for example, a reader case study you have previously submitted) and you would like it removed, email us.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Significant changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least seven days.
